INTERACTIVE CDs

Although we are not entirely convinced that Homo sapiens is a genuinely interactive creature when it comes to viewing programmes on a monitor or TV screen, we still believe that interactivity is the only legitimate method of providing a deeper context for any information or personal experience.

In 1997 Bird of Paradise was hailed as the first creative interactive CD to be written and produced in the Czech Republic.

As a result Michael Havas and his team were invited to help develop Germany’s answer to Bill Gates´ Encarta: the Bertelsmann Lexicodisc, a 5-disc CD ROM encyclopaedia.

Since then Havas has produced animation for Peter Gabriel´s Real World production Ceremony of Innocence and help develop the concept for Prague Time Machine (Best Multi Media Programme in the Czech Republic, 2001).
